Stone County Jail Roster Records

The official Stone County jail roster is the myR2M Stone County roster linked from the Stone County Sheriff's Office website. It is public, free to use, and did not require a login during the research inspection. The roster is not built as a blank first-name and last-name search form. It loads a list and lets the reader use tabs, sort choices, a name dropdown, and page-size controls to browse current inmates, new inmates, and recent releases.

That list is a county-jail record source, not a full Arkansas criminal history database. Stone County Detention Center holds people arrested locally, pretrial defendants, short local sentences, and some post-conviction inmates waiting for Arkansas Department of Corrections transfer. A person who has been sentenced and received by the state may be easier to find in the Arkansas DOC locator. A federal or immigration matter can require the BOP, ICE, U.S. Marshals, or court path instead of the Stone County roster.

Use Stone County Inmate Roster

Stone County inmate records should be read in sequence. Start with the sheriff-linked roster because it shows county jail custody first. Then check the recent-booking and release tabs if the person is not on the current list. If the booking is too new, the release has already happened, or another agency has a hold, the public list may lag behind the real custody status.

1. Open the sheriff homepage and choose "Inmate Roster," or go directly to the myR2M Stone County roster.
2. Use "Current Inmates" for people now housed at Stone County Detention Center, "New Inmates" for recent bookings, and "Recent Releases" for recent departures.
3. Change page size to 20 or 30 if the list is long, or sort by arrested date when the arrest may have just occurred.
4. Use the "Select Name" dropdown when a known name is already present on the loaded roster list.
5. Read the inline entry for mugshot, name, demographics, partial address, arrest date, arresting agency, charges, bond, and court information.
6. If the person is not listed, call the jail, check VINELink, make a records request, or search the state, federal, and immigration systems.

Some Stone County entries may show a hold, probation or parole status, more than one charge, more than one bond amount, or court details for District Court and Circuit Court. A hold for another county can mean Stone County has physical custody but cannot release the person on Stone County matters alone. A probation or parole hold can survive even if a new local charge is resolved.

Stone County Roster Search Fields

The Stone County roster controls matter because the portal does not work like many large jail search systems. The inspected page showed tabs and dropdowns rather than a typed search box. Telling a reader to type a last name would be inaccurate for this county. The "Select Name" dropdown is the closest name tool, but it depends on the roster list already being loaded.

Stone County's New Inmates tab has its own roster view. The official new-inmates page can be a better starting point when a booking happened recently and the current list feels hard to scan.

The separate new-inmates view supports the fallback chain because a person may appear there before a reader spots the entry in the larger current roster.

Stone County Inmate Record Fields

The public Stone County roster displays the profile facts inline with each person rather than requiring a separate profile-page click. The exact entry can vary. Some records show a court date and court name, while others may not. Full dates of birth, exact street addresses, housing assignment, booking number, and physical descriptors beyond race, sex, and age were not visible in the inspected list view.

Jail booking records can be public under Arkansas FOIA, but the sheriff FAQ gives limits. Active investigations, juvenile records, sealed or expunged records, personnel records, and ACIC or NCIC database material are not handled like ordinary public copies. A roster entry is also not a conviction record. Filed charges and dispositions have to be checked in court records.

Stone County Records Access Chain

When the roster does not answer the question, use the next access channel instead of guessing. The jail phone line is the fastest confirmation path for very recent arrests, transport, release, and roster downtime. In-person records contact is tied to the Sheriff's Office administrative hours. Public-records requests are useful for available jail booking records, but they do not unlock restricted criminal-history database material.

The Stone County Sheriff's FAQ is the local source for public-records limits and the report-copy fee. It names jail booking records as a public-record category that may be available, while also setting out exceptions.

Stone County Jail vs DOC

Stone County inmate records split by custody system. The county roster is for Stone County Detention Center custody. The Arkansas Department of Corrections system is for sentenced prisoners, ADC transfers, Act 309 statuses, and people no longer held as ordinary county-jail inmates. The research found no state prison, federal prison, ICE detention center, jail annex, or separate regional jail physically inside Stone County.

Act 309 is a state-county work or in-jail status, not a separate Stone County prison. The DOC locator includes Stone-related status labels, but those labels do not create a new public facility page. If a state prisoner is still housed in the county jail under a county-jail-related status, confirm the physical location before using county commissary or visitation rules.

Stone County Jail Facility

Stone County has one detention facility identified by official sources: Stone County Detention Center. It is operated by the Stone County Sheriff's Office and is the destination for local jail custody, booking output, video visitation, inmate funds, and jail phone questions. The sheriff page names Brandon Long as sheriff, while the detention page names local detention command staff for day-to-day operations.

The jail page says the building was built in 1994, expanded to hold 40 inmates, and organized into four housing units, including a female unit. The facility uses objective classification and has staff, programs, commissary, phone-card, and video-visitation information on the detention page.

Stone County Booking Records

A local arrest usually moves from field contact to transport, jail intake, booking photo, charge or hold entry, and roster publication. Stone County does not publish a detailed booking manual, but the roster shows the output of that process: mugshot, name, race, sex, age, partial address, arrest date and time, arresting agency, charges, bond, and sometimes court date and court name. Booking creates a jail record. It does not by itself prove guilt.

Early court activity may follow quickly. Bond, first appearance, failure-to-appear warrants, and court dates can affect what the roster displays. For the case record after booking, use the court path rather than relying only on jail data. Charges filed in court are separate from the booking list, and a person can have a jail record before the public court portal has caught up.

Stone County Visitation Records

Official visitation information is narrow but important. The Stone County Detention Center page says all inmate visitation is through the CTC Video Visitation system. The detainee sends the visitation request through the kiosk to the person they want to visit, and the detainee is responsible for starting that request. The county did not publish a separate walk-in schedule, accepted ID list, dress code, duration, or fee table in the reviewed sources.

Note: Do not assume a visit can be scheduled without the inmate-side kiosk request and current jail approval.

Stone County Inmate Contact

Stone County's detention page says items may not be brought in for inmates for security reasons. Clothing, hygiene items, and similar needs must go through the commissary system. The same source says money may be placed into an inmate account for commissary or phone cards, and phone cards are available for purchase. No official inmate mail format, postcard-only rule, publication rule, or prohibited-mail list was located in the research.
